The hot air drying equipment is suitable for the drying of plastic gravure and flexographic printing ink and solvent varnish, and can also accelerate the drying of water-based ink and varnish. Devices required to use hot air drying technology:
1. Hot air device
The dryer heats the air around the heat source through the fan and blows it to the ink surface. The efficiency of hot air drying can be improved by adjusting the direction of hot air and the angle of paper operation. The higher the speed of the hot air relative to the paper, the lower the vapor pressure on the paper surface, and the higher the solvent volatilization speed; adjusting the wind direction to form the additive effect on the paper running speed is more conducive to drying. The wind speed of the hot air pipe shall not be lower than the required speed, otherwise, the light pipe will be burnt out due to poor heat dissipation on the surface of the air pipe. The wind speed should not be too high, because some energy will be lost in the process of wind circulation. The proper selection of fan pressure and air volume can achieve a good drying effect.
2. heat source
There are three kinds of heat sources to produce hot air: electric hot air pipe, such as stainless steel, quartz glass, ceramic shell hot air pipe; high temperature oil pipe, high temperature oil through the pipe to heat the air to produce hot air; high temperature steam pipe, through the boiler to produce high temperature steam to produce hot air.
